Teaching

I have been a teaching assistant at the University of Florida for the Wildlife of Florida Lab, will soon be helping teach volunteers at a banding lab, over the summer course Wildlife Techniques at UF I assisted in the setting up mist nets and extraction of birds for the class, and in the past I have been a volunteer for a kid's summer nature camp.

Audubon

I have been a part of Audubon since early high school, where I have participated in multiple years of JayWatch and Christmas Bird Count. Since then I have become the native bird garden manager for the on-campus Audubon chapter, GREBE, and have been an Alachua Audubon Society Intern where I learned banding at the Prairie Creek Bird Banding Lab, helped in the maintenance of kestrel nest boxes, helped in the monitoring migration of common loons, staffed at a booth at a festival, and wrote for their newsletter.
